General access to our website

Every time a user accesses our website or downloads a file, access data relating to this activity is automatically stored in log files on our provider’s server for the duration of the user’s visit to our website, including the following information:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the connecting computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP-Adress

The stored data is analysed exclusively for statistical purposes. Under no circumstances is it disclosed to third parties. The user’s IP address is required to use our website; it is stored only for the duration of use and, beyond that period, is used only in anonymised form.

This data is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR for the provision of the website, to ensure technical operation and the security of our IT systems. The legitimate interest in relation to the transmission of the IP address lies in the fact that it is necessary for displaying the content of the website; without the transmission of the IP address, it is not possible to display the website.

Contact Form

Our website features a contact form that can be used to contact us electronically. By clicking the ‘Send’ button, you consent to the transmission of the data entered in the form to us. We also store the date and time of your enquiry. The personal data voluntarily provided to us in this context is used to process your enquiry and to contact you. The legal basis for the transmission of the data is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. We use the data for this purpose until the relevant conversation with you has ended. The conversation is deemed to have ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved.

Communication by email

Communication via email may be subject to security risks. For example, emails sent to Sächsische Ärzteversorgung may be intercepted and viewed by experienced internet users whilst in transit.
Should we receive an email from you, this is done voluntarily on your own initiative, and we assume that we are entitled to reply by email. Otherwise, we must expressly direct you to use another method of communication.
