As a member of the Saxon Medical Pension Fund, you have the option of continuing to work while receiving your retirement pension. This employment has no impact whatsoever on your retirement pension. This applies to both the early, mandatory retirement pension and the deferred retirement pension.

You are no longer required to pay contributions to the pension fund, as the obligation to contribute ends when you begin receiving your pension. In some cases, contributions to the statutory pension insurance may be required. You can obtain information on this from your employer or the German Pension Insurance.
